Policies

  • For the comfort of all guests, all properties are non smoking.
  • No pets allowed unless otherwise noted.
  • Minimum stay:  Summer reservations are booked in 1 week increments.  Off season reservations are a 2 night minimum, 3 nights over a holiday.
  • Taxes:  A 12%  Cayucos occupancy tax is charged on rent, cleaning fee and reservation.
  • Check in is at 3pm, check out is 10 am.  We try to accommodate early check ins, so please call ahead to see if your property could be ready earlier than our 3pm check in.
  • All Cayucos vacation rentals fall under the jurisdiction of the San Luis Obispo County Vacation Rental Ordinance.
  • Parking must be in garage or driveway.  No street parking is allowed at vacation rentals.
  • Please let us know if you’ll be arriving after business hours so we can make arrangements for keys.
  • A $250 non-refundable deposit is required to book the reservation.   This payment is applied towards rent.  Final payment is due 60 days prior to check in date.
  • Cancellation Policy:  The $250 non-refundable deposit is forfeited with cancellation.  If more than 60 days notice is given of cancellation, all money paid except for the $250 deposit will be refunded.  If less than 60 days notice of check in date is given, all payment is forfeited.
  • The Cleaning Fee covers all reasonable cleaning when you depart.   Please wash any used dishes, load and start dishwasher, and take trash out.
  • Linens:  We provide bed linens and bath towels.  Some homes have beach towels, but not all, so please bring your own!  We start the homes with a supply of paper towels and toilet paper.
  • Maintenance:  If you have any maintenance issues, please call the office and we will dispatch a repairman.
